Youth Work Report from Romanian Leaders,

DAVID GROUP
At one meeting one of our young people, Estera had an idea to think of some mottoes and they would write what they believed. So we read very interesting things and we have written some below:

To be a person with courage is not minding if you have to fling yourself in front in any danger with any risk, but at all times decide to stay by the side of the truth.

It is very important to know the truth. For me, to know the truth means to know Jesus. It is very important to have courage when you are fighting for the truth.

Wisdom is needed with courage. Sometimes you need courage to give up something if it is bad. Then when you are in a situation that is not Jesus' will, you need courage to give up and you will not go on to sin.
(Anca 12 years old)

The most beautiful things from the world can't be seen, or touched but are felt in the heart. Here are some examples from my life:

In my life I can't see Jesus, or touch him, but sometimes I feel him when I pray, and he answer my prayers. I never will be able to meet him like a person on the earth, but I live with the hope that one day I will see him, I am very sure I will see him and he will know me.

I had a strange feeling in my heart for a while. It was like something was restless in me to make a change in my life, in my heart. I felt how Jesus cleansed my heart, it looked like all was a dream, but from that day, in my heart God existed! I pray that all the people will know and feel all these things!

GIRLS MEETING
For someone an obstacle means an excuse to renounce. For others it is an occasion to make himself stronger passing through difficulties and a step that bring us closer by our purpose.

It is very easy to choose the easy way, to renounce, to not pass over the difficulties but the one that choose to pass over difficulties, succeeds in seeing the vision, a purpose that happened. All the difficulties that are staying in our way are not a reason to give up, passing through makes us stronger and helps us to get to our purpose.

What is your purpose, vision, for this life?

We pray that the most important vision is to meet Jesus one day, and He helps us to prepare for this every day, to lay up treasure for heaven.

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. "(Matthew 6: 19, 20)

How can we lay up treasure for heaven? "I was hungry and you give me food, I was thirsty and you give me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me" (Matthew 25: 35, 36)

"Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me!" (Matthew 25: 45)"

We are continuing to meet with the girls every Friday night, and from now on when we will meet we will make Christmas cards, and at the same time that we are talking, we have tea together.

MANDOLINS LESSONS
A new thing I have started from July is to build a group of youth and children to play mandolins. We worked intensively for 2 months with theory and practicing, and now we are able to play some songs. We learnt two very well, on 3 different voices. I am very proud of each one, there are ten people but we have just 8 mandolins. Also we have others that would like to learn, but at the moment we need to find more mandolins then maybe in November start a new group. We intend that in October we will have our first debut in church, so pray for our new start.
